Eating through the Big Apple

I have always and will always love New York City. While I usually frequent Manhattan, I recently started to obsess over Brooklyn as well. This post will focus on the well known Manhattan area, but be on the look out for a future post outlining what to expect from Brooklyn.

I try to visit NYC at least once a year since the drive is only four hours from Northern Virginia. My main focus during these trips is to eat as much as I can! There are so many restaurants in this amazing city that I try to go to different spots during each visit. I completely avoid franchise restaurants due to the abundance of family/privately owned establishments. Many food trends begin in the city, which always gives me a reason to drive up and check it out.
